FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Where can we meet for lessons? I teach at my place on Dobra in Powisle, please see the map below. As long as traffic isn't too bad I can also travel to students at no exrta charge.  Am I going to learn anything through conversation? I use the term "conversations" in the sense of "the conversational method of learning." It is not just talking about nothing. Look at the teaching materials section and see how many vocabulary items/grammar constructions/informal structures are unknown to you. That's just a fraction of what you will learn in one lesson - if you put your mind to it! Is my English good enough for conversational lessons? If you can read and understand what I wrote on these pages, it probably is. You must be able to understand what I am saying to you and reply even in simple English. Communication is the key. If you are a beginner, we will not be able to have a conversation, and regular textbook lessons might be better for you. What do I get for my money? -- one or two lessons a week with me -- additional CD audio lessons to do at home -- lots of homework (if you want it) Do I need to pay for the whole month in advance? Payment after each lesson is good enough for me. Do you issue invoices (faktura)? Yes. Can I learn English together with a friend of mine or in a group? Sure, it will be cheaper, more fun and more motivating for you! Ask your friends and family and create a group of up to 4 people. |
